ok ya know how hebrew names mean things like moses means drawn from the water and jesus means god saves. well does anyone know a site were you can type in a sentence or something like god loves or something and it will tell you the word for that. like if i were to type in drawn from the water it would tell me moses
Hebrew names and there meanings?
Keep in mind that names in Hebrew aren't pronounced the way we say them in English. Moses is Mosheh, and Jesus is Yehoshua in biblical Hebrew, Yeshua in modern Hebrew.
Your best bet is to find someone who speaks Hebrew, and ask them to translate something if you want. You'll get a more accurate translation than any online site could give. (and many of those books and sites that translate names are inaccurate. If a name doesn't have a good meaning, they will polish it up.)
